Ben Greening
Hi, my name is Ben Greening. I’m a graphic designer from Guernsey who is currently studying in a three year BA (Hons) Graphic Design at Arts university Bournemouth.
I’m a design student who is specially interested in Branding, Marketing and Visual Identity within the areas of men’s fashion and the music industry. I thoroughly enjoy experimenting with various types of media and different mediums throughout my projects, as it allows a lot of creative freedom to experiment with different styles.
I am constantly looking online for inspiration, not only in my passionate areas but throughout the world as I enjoy watching things develop and change in terms of design. As a student coming into the world of design, I am really eager to learn new styles and methods. I enjoy working independently as I’m a focused and driven to do the best I can within a project; but I also think working with others can be a great benefit as your collaboration of ideas and designs come together to create something unique and effective.
From having a part time job in a shop/garage for 5 years, I have gained a great amount of experience with working well in a team and also dealing with various customers so feel like I am easy to get on with. I have also shadowed my uncle who is a graphic designer and had two work experiences at PF+A and Mike Nicole who are both architecture companies.
Outside of university, I believe in a work/play balance. I enjoy creating designs in my own time to practice styles as well as going to the gym and cooking for health and fitness as well as listening to a lot of music as I’d say it plays quite a big part in my life and going out socialising with friends.
I am now seeking to gain further experience within the industry and am currently looking for internships over the summer.
